Volunteer Opportunities
ReadWest’s greatest need is for volunteer tutors. However, there are other ways to participate.

Board Member
The Board of Directors for ReadWest is responsible for initiating, approving and carrying out plans and programs to serve the organization. Additionally, they raise fund, apply for grants and manage the budget. The Board meets on the 3^rd Tuesday evening of each month and as needed. If you are interested, please contact Will Steinsiek, our Executive Director, and supply him with a letter of interest and a resume.

Office Help
We always need office help in the forms of copying, organizing, data entry, filing, and conducting Tutor follow-up phone calls. If you’d like to assist in one of these tasks on a regular basis, please contact the office.

In-Kind Gifts
In-kind gifts of office supplies, equipment, furniture etc. are appreciated. Please contact the office about donating gifts of this nature.

As a nonprofit, tax-exempt, 501 (c) (3), charitable organization we rely heavily on monetary donations.

The cost to train and support a tutor is close to $150.

The cost to provide instruction to a student is close to $240.

Your donations are tax-deductible and greatly appreciated by our students. To donate, please use our convenient online link to PayPal.

ReadWest is enrolled in the Albertson’s Community Partners program. Last year Albertsons gave over $5,600,000 to organizations because of loyal supporters. Albertsons will donate 1% of your purchase to ReadWest. There is no cost to get involved and we will benefit greatly with your help.
